Summary Ayaz Latif Palijo says his party would attend APC organised by ANP.
HYDERABAD: A delegation of Awami National Party (ANP) met President Awami Tehrik (AT) Ayaz Latif Palijo here on Tuesday and invited him to join ANP’s All Parties Conference going to be held this month.
The ANP delegation led by Federal Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, comprised ANP Sindh President Shahi Syed and others.
Talking to media, Palijo said that the ANP and AT share a common ideology, and that his party would participate in the APC called which is on how to tackle the menace of militancy.
Palijo appealed Chief Election Commissioner Justice (retd) Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim to impalement Supreme Court’s verdict of delimitation in Karachi and involvement of army for door-to-door verification of electoral rolls.
“The chief election commissioner should tell the nation what hurdles he is facing in ensuring free and fair polls,” the nationalist party leader said.
On the occasion, Bilour affirmed that all political parties were standing should to shoulder by ANP on the issue of terrorism and militancy.
