Summary The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has imposed petroleum levy (PL) on LPG.
ISLAMABAD: The OGRA imposed petroleum levy of Rs 3500 per ton on liquefied petroleum gas and issued notification in this regard.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Lahore High Court had barred the Oil and Gas Regulation Authority and Federal Government from receiving the petroleum levy imposed on locally produced LPG.
The LPG marketing companies’ spokesman said that the new PL would be challenged in the court.
