PESHAWAR: A complete shutter-down strike is being observed in Hangu on Saturday against recent suicide blast that left at least 27 people dead, Dunya News reported.
On Friday, a suicide bomber targeted a mosque in the town of Hangu, killing 27 people and wounding up to 50 as worshippers poured out of weekly prayers. The bomber detonated explosives packed into a motorcycle in a narrow lane near the mosque.
After the incident, security in the area has been tightened. Hangu police have registered a case against unknown attackers.
