Summary Minister urges PML-N to use forum of the Parliament instead of staging sit-ins.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has urged Pakistan Muslim League (N) to pursue the course of dialogue instead of staging sit in in-front of the parliament house.

Talking to the media persons in Islamabad on Tuesday‚ he urged the N-League to use the forum of the Parliament, he said Election Commission cannot prevent the assemblies from functioning until they are dissolved.

About creation of new provinces in Punjab‚ Qamar Zaman Kaira said that over two thousand recommendations have been received on the matter. These will be presented before the National and Punjab Assembly after finalization.

Kaira said he deplores those who called Bahawalpur Junoobi Punjab as BJP; this is not an English name, as it will be called Bahawalpur South Punjab.

Reproaching the remarks made by the opposition leader against Senator Farhatullah Babar‚ Qamar Zaman Kaira said Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan should remain careful in selection of his words.

“Farhatullah Babar is a respectable person; hence, I condemn the use of cheap words for him,” the federal minister stressed adding it is beyond understanding as to what Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) wants.

He said the government will honor the agreement signed with Tahirul Qadri.

Kaira said the government has nothing to do with delimitation in Karachi, as the Election Commission of Pakistan is here to take this responsibility.
