After the arrests and restrictions, an alliance of 7 nationalist parties Gilgit-Baltistan Democratic Alliance decided to boycott the elections of Constituent Assembly, Dunya News reported on Friday. During a press conference in Gilgit press club, members of the alliance said the District Administration stopped the rallies and processions of Gilgit-Baltistan Democratic Alliance after slapping Article 144 while leaders and members are being harassed which is an undemocratic step. On this occasion, leaders and members of the alliance formally announced to boycott the election.
