Summary Imran shows dissatisfaction with performance of Election Commission, urges it to do more.
LAHORE: In a press conference Monday, PTI chief Imran Khan said Election Commission should enforce electoral laws uncompromisingly.
Federal and provincial governments were indulging in pre-poll rigging by allocating development funds to MNAs and MPAs.
Rejecting the issue of new provinces as an election stunt Imran said two or three coalition parties cannot take such important decisions.
He also opposed the inclusion of Mianwali district in the Bahawalpur South Punjab province.
Imran said PTI would start a protest movement, if PML-N and PPP strike a deal over caretaker setup.
He said people would take to streets if impartial caretaker setup was not introduced, adding change should only come through elections, and not through any unconstitutional means.
Meanwhile, talking to Dunya News PTI leader Ailala Malik said people of Mianwali would resist any attempt to include the district in the new province.
