President never offered any post: Aitzaz

Former President Supreme Court Bar Association Aitzaz Ahsan met with President Asif Ali Zardari in the President House on Thursday, Dunya News reported. Talking to Dunya News about his meeting, Aitzaz Ahsan said that he never asked to restore his CEC membership. He said overall situation of the country came under discussion in the meetings with PM Gilani and President Zardari. He revealed he was not offered any post in the meeting. He said that he did not demand any post from the president and all the news in this regard are baseless. He said that only vital issues related to Pakistan were discussed in the meeting. He said that his earlier meetings with the president remained pleasant.
