SWAT: Addressing a gathering on Friday on the occasion of death anniversary of Abdul Wali Khanin in Saidu Sharif, Mian Iftikhar Ahmad said that the Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa government is ready to hold talks with Taliban.
He said the negotiation team would be formed during next 20 days.
Mian Iftikhar said that jihad would be launched against those who were hatching conspiracies against the democracy and their evil designs would be foiled.
The minister said that the provincial government launched successful operation against the militants in Swat with the cooperation of Pakistan Army.
He said hundreds of ANP workers sacrificed their lives during the operation including former senior minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour for the restoration of peace in the province.
