Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira says that negotiations with terrorists are possible if they surrender, adding that Waziristan will be cleared of militants in next few weeks. Kaira maintained that government had apologized about the wrongdoings done with Balochistan in the past and a package for their rights would be announced in next few days. The minister told that Standing Committee had proposed curbs on media. Imran Khan opined that curbs imposed by government were efforts to hide governments wrongdoings and NRO. Javed Hashmi vowed his party would oppose any curbs on media, adding that media introduced democracy with politicians.
