Fierce battle is underway in Sararogha and Kani Garam areas of South Waziristan since night in which eight militants were killed and 10 others injured till morning, reported Dunya News. Sararogah- considered as a hub of militants- is being speedily cleared of militants. Kotki and Spin Kai areas have already been cleared of militants. Sources told that gunship helicopters are flying over the area and a full offensive is likely to be launched today. According to unofficial sources, some 0.5 million people have migrated from South Waziristan so far and majority of them are staying in North Waziristan. Registration of IDPs, who have come to Dera Ismail Khan and Tank, continues.
