Islamabad: TMQ sit-in continues despite severe cold

Thousands of men, women and children participating in the Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) chief Tahirul Qadri’s long march spent another night under the open sky in severe cold condition in the capital as the sit-in entered fourth day.

 

More than 250 participants fell ill due to severe cold and light rain on Wednesday night and were hospitalized but they were determined to continue their protest after treatment.

 

Meanwhile, a TMQ spokesman informed media that Dr Tahirul Qadri will address and press conference at 9:00am today (Thursday).
