On the orders of Supreme Court, Karachi police raided on a sugar go-down and seized 96,000kg sugar, reported Dunya News. Police raided on a go-down situated in Landhi 6 and seized 1,920 sugar bags of 50kg. Police also seized five trucks on this occasion. Landhi SHO Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh told Dunya News that drivers of the trucks present at go-down were also arrested by police.
