Summary PTI chief Imran Khan has said that the country cannot afford delay in the general election.
Political and Strategic Committee meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was held in Islamabad on Sunday which was presided over by Imran Khan.
The meeting reviewed the current political situation in the country and preparations for the upcoming general elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan said that the country cannot afford delay in the polls. He said that the general election should be held in time.
The meeting that decided to put pressure on the government for setting up an independent caretaker set up for the upcoming general election.
It was also decided in the meeting that PTI will not joint Dr Tahirul Qadri’s long march and rather it will support democracy.
