US not supporting Tahirul Qadri: Richard Hoagland

ISLAMABAD: US Deputy Chief of Mission in Islamabad Richard E Hoagland on Saturday claimed that United States is not backing Tahirul Qadri, adding that the country favours transparent political system across the globe.
While addressing a seminar in Islamabad, Hoagland stressed that US has never supported individuals or any political party.
US wants to see peace and prosperity in Pakistan, he added.
Referring to the coalition support fund (CSF), he said both countries were not in agreement over the modus operandi of releasing CSF. He said a new procedure will soon be introduced.
