SC takes suo motu notice of Shahzeb Khan's murder
Shahzeb Khan was killed few days back by two men reportedly belonging to an influential family.
ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan while taking notice of Shahzeb Khan’s murder in Karachi, summoned IG Sindh and Advocate General on January 4, Dunya News reported.,
The apex court also sought a report from the authorities.
The murder incident sparked anger and worry among youth, civil society and political leaders of the country.
Protests and rallies are being held countrywide to urge the authorities to take action against the culprits involved in the incident.
Shahzeb Khan was killed few days over a minor dispute by two men reportedly belonging to an influential family.
In the most recent development in the issue, police have reportedly arrested security guard of one of the accused.
