Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Nawaz Sharif says that he has never tried to destabilize the government, Dunya New Monday reported. Sharif maintained that his meeting with President Zardari wasnt for point scoring. Talking to media after condoling the death of students who died at International Islamic University Islamabad, he told that he hadnt received any agenda of the meeting with President Zardari. There should be a break through in meeting and the breakthrough is implementation of Charter of Democracy and elimination of 17th amendment, Sharif said. He stressed the need of other parties to keep the present government intact. Sharif asserted that PML-N didnt believe in behind the curtain dialogues and would talk in national interest. When asked whether it was the last meeting between him and the president over deadlock to solve issue, Sharif replied that media shouldnt ask such questions. Talking to Dunya News Minister of State Nabeel Gabool said that relations wouldnt break rather breakthrough would happen in the meeting. The minister hoped that issue of COD would resolve and the relations would improve after Zardari-Nawaz meeting today.
