4 MQM MNAs resign, Haider Rizvi becomes SA to CM
The resignations of four MQM members of national assembly (MNA) have been accepted.
ISLAMABAD: Haider Abbas Rizvi, Fauzia Ijaz, Tayyab Hussain and Dr Nadeem Ehsan had tendered their resignation due to their personal reasons.
The resignations have now been sent to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
The MNAs were among the sixteen parliamentarians who failed to submit their affidavits’ regarding dual nationality by the deadline set by the ECP.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has appointed Raza Haroon as Advisor to CM, while Haider Abbas Rizvi, Muhammod Ali Shah appointed as Special Assistant (SA) to Sindh CM. According to the notification, all the three, will enjoy a status equal to provincial ministers.
