Summary The Lahore High Court has rejected the Punjab government’s plea to cancel Aslam Madhiana bail.
The Punjab government filed a petition in the LHC, seeking the cancelation of bail granted to Aslam Madhiana, main accused of teacher torture case in Sargodha, by the trial court.
LHC judge Justice Muzhar Ali Naqvi heard the case.
The counsel for the government informed the court that Aslam Madhiana along with his accomplices brutally tortured a school teacher, Muhammad Nafees.
Madhiana’s lawyer told the court that his client was not involved any torture case, adding that the case was fake and registered on political bases.
After hearing the arguments, the court maintained the trial court’s decision.
