Malik urges students to stand against terrorism

Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik said on Tuesday that four people including two female students had been killed in the twin blasts in International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad.Talking to media after blasts in IIU, Rehman Malik said apparently security lapses were present in the university, adding that the guard first stopped the attacker but then let him go. I request students, teachers and every citizen to be alert and inform the police of any suspicious activities around. We need community policing, Malik added. He urged the students to come forward for eliminating terrorism from the country as their country needed them. The interior minister vowed to launch student task force project soon.
