In his message, the President expressed sympathies with the injured and directed the officials concerned to provide best medical assistance to the victims.
Conveying his best wishes, the President expressed satisfaction that Qazi Hussain Ahmed was safe and remained unhurt.
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf telephoned Qazi Hussain Ahmad to inquire about the incident.
He extended best wishes for his health and welfare. He said he was shocked to come to know about the attack on Jamaat e Islami leader with his caravan.
