Summary At least five people have been injured in a suicide blast occurred near Qazi Hussain Ahmed’s convoy.
As per reports, the incident took place when Qazi was on his way to Mohmand Agency from Peshawar to hold a public meeting in Haleem Zai.
The suicide bomber blew him up near Gandoh. At least five guards of Qazi were injured while the former chief of Jamat e Islami remained safe. However, his (Qazi) vehicle was damaged due to the blast.
According to official sources, the attacker was a woman.All the injured persons have been shifted to nearby hospital.
