Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has ordered the law enforcement agencies that vehicles should not be parked near Imam Bargahs following the explosion in Karachi.
He was addressing the media in Islamabad following the explosion in Karachi that killed two people.
Malik issued directives that cars should not be allowed to park within one kilometer of any Imam Bargah. For bikes, the limit of parking was at least half kilometer away.
Malik said that a third element was involved in the terrorist activities. Responding to a question, he said he was making all efforts to maintain peace in the country, adding that there was a threat of more terrorist acts in the coming days.
