Summary President Asif Ali Zardari and Interior Minister Rehman Malik have condemned Abbas Town blast.
President Asif Ali Zardari has taken strong notice of the bomb explosion, targeting an Imam bargah, in Abbas Town Karachi on Sunday that resulted in loss of precious lives and injured many others.
The President while condemning the explosion reiterated the resolve of the Government to continue its struggle against militants and extremists.
He said that such cowardly acts can never deter the Government and the people to pursue their struggle against the menace of terrorism and militancy till its logical conclusion.
Expressing sympathies with the bereaved families, the President directed the authorities concerned to provide best medical treatment to the injured.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Rehman Malik has also condemned the blast in Abbas Town area of Karachi. He instructed police and Rangers to collect forensic evidences from the site of the blast.
Rehman Malik said that motorcycle and mobile phone SIMs had become dangerous weapons.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain also condemned Abbas Town bomb blast. He asked people to show patience and respect every religion and sect.
