Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has asked Pakistan to cooperate for the arrest of plotters of a suicide attack which killed at least 49 people including top commanders and tribal leaders in Iran yesterday. Pakistans Interior Minister Rehman Malik, on the other hand, says that chief accused Abdul Maalik Regi isnt in Pakistan. Iran also blamed that some representatives of Pakistani security agencies have contacts with elements responsible for Iran attack. According to the Fars News Agency Iranian President asked Pakistan to help catch responsible of the attack and hand them over. The president maintained that he was informed some Pakistani officials were cooperating with the members of the Jundullah which was responsible for the attack. Iranian Interior Minister telephoned Rehman Malik after the incident. Malik assured him full cooperation, adding that Pakistan would keep working against terrorism. Steps will be taken to safeguard Pakistani border with Iran, Malik added.
