General David Petraeus arrives in Pakistan

Commander U.S. Central Command General David Petraeus has arrived in Pakistan to exchange views on South Waziristan operation with Pakistans military and political leadership, Dunya News reported Sunday.The government and military officials welcomed General Petraeus at Chaklala Airbase. General Petraeus will meet Pakistans military and political leadership and will discuss issues related to South Waziristan operation during his visit. According to US media, the United States is also providing Pak Army with arms, night vision spectacles and weapons to accurately target terrorists hideouts for the operation.
