Summary Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has approved four billion rupees water supply project to Gwadar.
Addressing the special session of Balochistan Cabinet in Gwadar on Friday evening‚ he said the project was the old demand of the people of the area.The Prime Minister said federal government and the Balochistan government will share funding of the project on fifty fifty basis.The Prime Minister directed that Katchi Canal project be completed on emergency basis.He also directed for completing the M-8 project on fast track basis.The Prime Minister sought recommendations to make Jewani‚ a model city.As per traditions of Balochistan the meeting was held on floor.Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani presented a traditional Makrani Chadar to the Prime Minister.
