The horrifying wave of bomb blasts and attacks on the security forces continues and two suicide attacks near CIA Police Station in Sadar Peshawar killed 11 people including two kids besides injuring 15 others on Friday, reported Dunya News. Edhi sources, however, have confirmed 14 deaths. Renowned social worker and philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi maintained that Russian and Indian weapon was being used in the terrorism incidents. According to the CCPO Peshawar, a burqa clad woman also blew her up after an explosive packed vehicle rammed into the police station. Suicide attacker hit an explosive packed van at 1:00pm with the outer gate of the CIA Police Station resulting in a fierce blast, security sources revealed. Eye witnesses told that a man and burqa clad woman tried to enter the building on motorcycle and blew them up when they were stopped from going inside the building. The blast damaged a large portion of the building and destroyed many vehicles. Eye witnessed said that smoke engulfed the area after the blast and the dead bodies were charred. Emergency was announced in Peshawars hospitals after the blast and injured were shifted to the hospital. The debris is being removed from the spot. Bomb disposal squad informed that 70kg explosive was used in the attack. Talking to media on the spot, Mr. Edhi opined that terrorists couldnt harm the country despite all their nefarious objectives. Separately, senior analyst Major General r Jamshed Ayaz told Dunya News that the security forces were winning the war against terrorists after a big-scale victory in Swat. Terrorists are carrying out these attacks to show their presence, he believed. Ayaz observed that happening of such incident wasnt surprising and more horrible incidents would happen in coming days. We are fighting against people from within us and they are backed by some foreign forces, Ayaz concluded.
