Summary

The National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) has been presented in the National Assembly (NA) and Senate, Dunya News Friday reported. The government decided to bring the NRO in the NA following the Supreme Court decision. The ordinance will be forwarded to Law Ministry which will make it a bill after the parliament approves it. After the NA approval, the bill will be presented in the NA again and after its approval from the two houses (Senate and National Assembly), the Prime Minister and President will sign it. The bill will then become a law. On the other hand, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi vowed to fully oppose the NRO. All the corruption cases under the will be brought to the peoples knowledge, he added. He stressed the need to eliminate the ordianance. NRO will be opposed on every forum because it is an unpleasant spot on the face of democracy, he maintained.
