Summary At least eight people were killed in separate incidents of violence in Karachi here on Monday.

On the other hand, police have arrested 12 accused who were allegedly involved in heinous crimes. In the first incident, three people including two women were killed with a sharp-edged dragger and their corpses were shifted to a private hospital.Following the incident, terror and horror gripped the area while police cordoned off the related area and collected finger prints and other evidences for further inquiry into the matter.In Usmanabad, a man named Abdulgaffar was condemned to death by unidentified armed men who escaped after hitting their target. In the same way, some unidentified armed men on motorbikes appeared in Kasba Colony and killed Rashid and hurt a passerby.In Kimari, such incident also occurred where some armed men barged into a house and gunned a political activist named Rustam.Besides, a dead body was found near Inquiry office in Nazimabad.At a private fast food point, a security guard gunned down his colleague Muhammad Nawaz who was doing his duty outside the restaurant. Police have arrested the accused and recovered weapons out of his possession.On the other hand, SIU police have arrested 12 accused during a search operation at Clifton and Defence and recovered sophisticated weapons including 11 pistols, three motorcycles and other stolen luggage as well.According to SSP Farooq Awan, all of the accused were involved in heinous crimes including murder, theft, abduction and extortion.
