Summary PMs Adviser on Petroleum Dr. Asim Hussain raided a CNG station in I-9 Islamabad Monday morning.
Later he ordered to conduct an inquiry against the station as he was not selling the CNG while keeping view the supreme court order.Speaking on the occasion he said the CNG station overcharged the public and as and when the federal government tried to control them they resorted to threats and strikes.He welcomed the apex court decision regarding CNG and petroleum product price. He said that it was the mistake of the previous government to provide gas in abundance.Dr. Asim said the Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet in its meeting on Tuesday will decide on the issue of fixing petroleum product prices.He said gas consumers will face fewer problems during this winter compared to previous years.
