Summary Police started raiding to arrest 35 criminals released on parole during ex-president Musharraf era.
According to the initial report of the police, most of these criminals have fled abroad.Also, Prosecutor General Sindh, Shahadat Awan has summoned an important meeting to work out a strategy to arrest the criminals, sources said.The assistance of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Interpol might be sought in this regard, sources added.It merits mentioning here that these 35 criminals were arrested during the time-period from July to November 2003, for involvement in arson, murder and keeping unlicensed arms.While hearing the Karachi-violence Case, when the Supreme Court inquired about these 35 criminals, it was revealed that they were released.At this, the Supreme Court ordered for their immediate arrest.
