Summary World Health Organisation has declared polio campaign in 19 districts of Pakistan unsatisfactory.
According to World Health Organisation (WHO) report, polio campaign in three districts of Sindh including Karachi, Dadu and Qamber, two districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa named Shangla and Karak and two districts of Punjab including Lahore and Rajanpur remained ineffective.Polio campaign in District Quetta, District Pashine and District Qilla Abdullah in Balochistan and Mohmand Agency, Jamrud and Ladi Kotal in FATA and Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Gilgit and Diamir remained unsatisfactory.The WHO report revealed that the coverage of polio campaign in these districts remained below 95 percent.
