Summary CNG stations owners have decided to stop the supply of CNG till November 19.

The Supreme Court had issued an order according to which the owners were bound to sell CNG on specific rate but the owners of stations while setting aside the apex court’s order have decided to keep their stations close till next hearing of the case on November 19.According to sources, the CNG stations’ owners of Faisalabad region have decided that they would keep their stations close till November 19. They also have instigated their union members to go on strike as a protest against the court decision.It is worth mentioning that more than 300 CNG stations are situated in Faisalabad, Jhang, Tobatek Singh and Chiniot would remain close.In the same way, CNG stations’ owners also have decided to keep their stations close as a demonstration. They are stubborn on selling gas according to their own.The demonstrators are of the view that CNG can’t be put on sale in accordance with new rates as it causes loss to them.CNG Association Punjab president Shuja Anwer has said that government can’t force them to continue their business in case of loss.The provision of CNG was also stopped to the transporters of Sahiwal, Borewala, Kohat and Mansehra, causing hectic problems for transporters and citizens.Protestors also have warned that if their grievances are not removed, they would continue their strike which may create new crisis in the country.
