Summary At least five dacoits were killed and four others were arrested by police in Karachi.
After severely reprimanded by the Supreme Court criticism from the general public, Karachi police finally decided to take action against criminal, Karachi police have shot dead five dacoits and arrested four others during operation in different areas of the city.According to details, three dacoits were killed during an alleged encounter with a Boot Basin Police mobile near Sheerin Jinnah Colony while three robbers managed to escape. Police mobile was also damaged during armed encounter with caoits. According to police officials, one of the deceased dacoit was identified as Yahya.Earlier, police shot dead two dacoits in I Block of North Nazimabad, The identity of the dacoits is not yet known. Police have recovered a motorcycle and two TT pistols from them.Police have also arrested two dacoits from Gulistan Jouhar after an armed encounter and recovered a stolen motorcycle and arms from their possession.
