Summary Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry says Balochistan government has lost its authority.
A three-member bench of Supreme Court headed by CJP Wednesday resumed hearing of the Balochistan law and order case.The Chief Justice ordered the additional advocate general Balochistan to get in writing from the Chief Minister Balochistan and Chief Secretary that under what authority and law is the Balochistan government operating when the Constitution is not in effect.Chief Justice Iftikjar Chaudhry expressed his displeasure over the failure of Interior Secretary KM Siddiq Akbar to submit a report on the province’s law and order situation.The court also summoned the interior secretary to appear before the bench in 30 minutes time.
