Summary Land survey was Sindh governments responsibility, Justice Jamali said.
A five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali resumed hearing of Karachi law and order case on Wednesday.During today’s proceeding, the provincial chief secretary told court that the provincial government had sanctioned a land survey from Gadap to Jamshoro.The bench remarked that all land from Gadap to Jamshoro was in fact government property.Moreover, officials from the revenue department said that a year’s time was needed to conduct a survey of government land and requested the court to grant them the said time.Approving the measure to conduct the survey from Gadap to Jamshoro, the bench ordered the authorities to complete survey within three months.The case hearing has been adjourned till Thursday.
