Summary Dr Firdous Awan says Nisar committed court contempt by expressing no trust in FIA.
Federal Minister for Regulations and Services Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the Supreme Court verdict in Asghar Khan case was the first one which was against the PML-N and other political parties which was largely applauded by all segments of the society.Reacting to the press conference of opposition leader and PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Firdous Ashiq Awan, while talking exclusively to the Online on Sunday, said Chaudhry Nisar has committed contempt of court by saying that they have no trust in FIA and would not accept any probe through it.She said the verdict has also exposed PML-N respect for judiciary. She said the court has ordered the government to hold inquiry but refusal by the PML-N means that some is wrong on its part.It is to be mentioned that the Supreme Court in its historic decision on Asghar Khan case had ordered probe into allied political parties of Islami Jamhoori Ittehad (IJI) and its leaders.
