The Islamabad police arrested seventy suspects during search operation in Shehzad town and Sihala area of Islamabad. The operation was conducted following the report of intelligence agencies regarding the possible terror attack.According to police, the arrested persons do not posses national identity card and any residential proof.The Intel agencies report stated that militants may take flats on rent to plot terror bids. It also saidmany of the arrested militants had been residing in Islamabad.The police directed all landlords to submit the bio-data of the tenants in police station before renting out their place.The purpose of starting search operation in various areas is to ensure foolproof security in the Capital, the police said.
