Summary Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League (Q) agreed to field joint candidate in elections.
A delegation of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), headed by Federal Minister Syed Khursheed Shah, held a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader and Diputy Prime Minister Pervez Elahi at his residence in Lahore and decided to field joint candidates in the upcoming by-elections against PML-N candidates.The PML-Q leader Kamil Ali Agha said that both PPP and PML-Q agreed on electoral alliance for the general election and by-election. He informed that the names of the joint candidates were reviewed during the meeting and will be announced on October 8.
