Summary Provincial Law Minister has asked governor that ex-OGRA chairman should be handed over to police.
It is has been reported that ex-Ogra chairman Toukeer Sadiq has taken refuge in Governor House, said Rana Sanaullah. According to Dunya News, Rana Sanaullah said that the Supreme Court had issued order for arrest of former chairman of OGRA Touqeer Sariq but nobody is following the court order keeping in view the concept of rule of law.He also has appealed to the governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa that accused should be handed over to police as per law, with the warning that if the court’s order is not followed, police would be bound to enter the Governor House without permission.Rana Sanaullah also warned that if governor khosa doesn’t cooperate with the Punjab government in this regard, the Punjab government would register case against him.On the other hand, Governor House spokesman has said that provincial law minister’s statement regarding former OGRA chairman is baseless.
