The Supreme Court, while hearing the dual nationality case on Wednesday, suspended the National Assembly membership of PML-Q’s Shehnaz Sheikh, Dunya News reported.A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the petition seeking disqualification of parliamentarians holding dual nationality.The apex court also issued notice to MNA Ghulam Mujtaba Rai and directed him to present evidence to confirm whether he was a Canadian national or not.
