Summary Opposition leader in Sindh PA Jam Madad Ali said says PPP slaughtered Sindhis by LG Ord.
“Those who begged votes in the name of their martyred leaders have now slaughtered the people of Sindh today. Enforcement of this ordinance is worse than the Ayoub Khan’s One Unit,” Jam Madad Ali, who is Pakistan Muslim League-Functional’s MPA, said while speaking to media representatives following the assembly session.Earlier today, the house approved the ordinance amid pandemonium.At least a dozen members from PML-F, ANP, PML-LM and PML-Q sat down in front of Speaker Nisar Khohro’s rostrum. They chanted slogans against the ordinance and demanded that opposition benches be issued to them as they have tendered resignations.Sindh Law Minister Ayaz Soomro tabled it in the house. He read out the ordinance which was approved by the assembly with majority.The opposition members tore up the copies of agenda of the day.“We urged the government to withdraw this ordinance and present it in the house as a bill, but our demand was rejected….This is the demand of people of Sindh who want a uniform local body system from Karachi to Kashmore,” Jam Madad Ali said.He said the session was hastily summoned to approve the bill. “It’s a betrayal with Sindh and we all have been slaughtered”.
