Summary Ten people were killed while many others hurt in different incidents of violence and firing Friday.
In the first incident, an activist of a political party was gunned down near New Karachi Town office.In Bheempura, unidentified armed men on motorbike killed Amjad and escaped from the site of occurrence.In two different incidents of violence, Zakir was gunned down in Soldier Bazar while Arsalan was killed in Grass Market. Another ill-fated Zubair was killed by terrorists near Nipa Chaurangi while Asif was crushed to death in Garden.Separately, miscreants targeted a shop in the Pital Street of Gulbahar, killing the shopkeeper Mirza Suhail Baig.Besides, corpses of Arif and Latif have been found near Korangi No 2.5 and Jinnah Bridge. They were reportedly tortured to death and then thrown to some rubbish place.In the same way, two rival groups clashed each other and exchanged firing with sophisticated guns, injuring five people from both sides.The government has spent billion of rupees for maintenance of law and order but both police and Rangers have apparently failed to restore peace in the city.During a search operation in Kati Pahari, Koken Colony, Korangi, Malir and Maripur, security forces seized heavy quantity of arms and ammunition along with narcotics but no terrorist could be arrested as well.
