According to initial report, doctors have found no evidence of food poisoning which led to the hospitalization of more than two hundred police recruits in Karachi.The mass food-poisoning took place on Sunday night at Razzakabad Police Training Centre.Hundreds of trainees, who had eaten the food provided by their mess, fell ill. Most of the recruits started throwing up, causing severe dehydration.The 244 sick police recruits were taken to Jinnah Hospital.Police academy sources said the last meal served at the mess was a dish of chickpeas and boiled eggs.Trainee cops in their statement have complained that contaminated food is being served in breakfast, lunch and dinner.
