Federal Cabinet meeting underway

The Federal Cabinet meeting continues under the chair of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani in Islamabad, reported Dunya News. The meeting is likely to approve the bill of making Federal Statistics Bureau independent and increasing the subsidized prices of the wheat. The session will start at 11:00am. The Cabinet will get a briefing from the Ministry of Food and Agriculture on fixing the subsidized price of wheat. The meeting will also approve Pakistans agreements with other countries on anti-money laundering, energy conservation bill and others. The Cabinet will also review establishment of National University Islamabad and National Research Council. The law and order situation, political scenario and eatable prices will also be brought under discussion.
