Summary Waheeda Shah got a two-year ban for slapping a polling staff member.

The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday upheld ECP’s decision that disqualified Waheeda Shah for misconduct during by-polls in Tando Mohammad Khan.On March 7, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate Waheeda Shah was disqualified by Election Commission of Pakistan.The ECP had also nullified the result of a provincial assembly seat (PS-53) by-poll where the incident took place.Later, Shah challenged the decision in Sindh High Court.But today, a two-member division bench comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Aftab Ahmed rejected the Shah’s plea.The court also ordered the re-election in the constituency.
