Summary PM Raja Pervez Ashraf has appointed Syed Raghib Abbas Shah as the Chairman of WAPDA.
The appointment has been made in consultation with the Minister for Water and Power, Chaudhary Ahmed Mukhtar.According to the spokesperson of Prime Minister’s House, the post of chairman Water and Power Development Author was lying vacant after the completion of the tenure of Shakeel Durrani.The notification stating Syed Raghib Abbas Shah as the new Chairman WAPDA has been issued.It merits mentioning here that Raghib Abbas Shah has previously served as Member Water in WAPDA.
