Summary Interior Minister has vowed transparent inquiry of the incident.
Talking to media in Karachi on Sunday morning after his visit to the factory, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that those found guilty of Baldia Town garment’s factory incident would be given exemplary punishment and in this connection transparent inquiry process in progress.He said that the Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf had issued directives to provide jobs to the heirs of the deceased of the tragedy.Rehman Malik said according to preliminary reports and the fire erupted due to the tripping off the generator. The minister said that it was a national tragedy and all the politicians should join the government in compensation to the fire affectees.
