Summary Malik Riazs counsel had objected to form new bench to hear transfer of land scam case to NAB.
Property tycoon Malik Riaz had filed a petition in the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench, seeking transfer of investigation of, transfer of 1400 canal land illegally, from anti-corruption department to National Accountability Bureau. A two-member bench of the LHC heard the case.Malik Riaz’s council Aitzaz Ahsan informed the bench that earlier a two-member bench of the LHC comprising on Justice Shahid Hameed Dar and Justice khawaja Imtiaz had heard the case, therefore, formation of a new bench is not valid.The court heard the arguments and reserved the verdict.
