Summary Sheikh Rasheed has said that no new provinces would be created nor LG elections would be held.
Head of the Awami Muslim League (AML), Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad Sunday stated that festivity of drama is proceeding in the country.Addressing a press conference at the AML Punjab office here Sunday, he said the government is deceiving masses in the name of Local Government Ordinance.He said it is the dishonesty of the government that it has brought local government ordinance at the time of formation of interim government and demanded immediate formation of the interim government.“Current assemblies have no values as persons of only 7 families have hijacked these assemblies, neither new provinces would be created nor local government elections would be held. Current politicians are the products of jails and they have to returned back to jails as well”, he stated.He said that country is facing critical situation, every institution is near to become bankrupt.He said that India is no more following policies of Gandhi and Nehru instead it has become pro-America.“Pakistan and India are improving relations over the directions of the America”, he said.He stated that provinces are silent over the issue of hike in petroleum prices.He urged Lahoris to wake up, because when the Lahore would awake all the country will surely awake.Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said that the AML would hold public rallies for creating awareness among masses in Multan and Khanewal on 16th September.He stated that the AML would held a public rally at Gawalmandi area in Lahore on 28th September and this rally will be materialize without Patwari’s and busses.
